Week 81: Tuesday December 23, 2014

Dear Family,
Twas' Christmas eve on the isles of the sea, and in the far land of Utah lived one very excited family!
I feel like I usually have boring opening lines, so I thought that I would think up something a little more exciting! Christmas time is finally upon us. The anticipation is growing and the time is drawing closer for us to speak. I am hoping that all goes well and works out! I am sure that we will figure it all out, but I just want to re-emphasize the importance of patience. Who knows? Maybe it will work right away and all will go smoothly! But if not, don't stress. It will all work out. The plan is still the same. I will be on tomorrow around 9:00 or 10:00 am. We will try Google Hangout, but if all else fails, we may have to resort to Skype.
I'm not going to spend a great deal of time on this letter since we will be talking tomorrow. We had a zone Christmas activity earlier this morning so I wasn't able to write as early as I usually do. It was very enjoyable. There was food, games, and a small gift exchange. We even used a stick and a rolled up piece of large tissue paper with tape around it to play baseball! It's been a long time since I've swung a bat. I'm excited to spend hours doing so when I get back!
I have received the package that you all sent! Well, I haven't personally received it, but it is at the mission office. I will pick it up next month when we head back over to Cebu. Don't feel bad. It will be nice to have a Christmas/birthday package waiting for me!
I love you all. See you tomorrow!
Elder Staheli.
